Alysa Milano who’s been a vocal opponent of the 45th president has now offered her formal congratulations to President Donald Trump. Alyssa took to Twitter to congratulate him on his recent impeachment. Milano pointed out that Trump is the third person in the history of America who is impeached after the ruling was made by the U.S. House of Representatives. As expected, Trump supporters swarmed her replies with support while the opponents were rallying behind her. This is not the first time that Milano has tweeted against president Trump.
Alyssa Milano is 47, born on December 19, 1972, in New York City, New York, U.S. She is the daughter of famous film-music editor Thomas M. Milano and fashion designer and talent manager, Lin Milano. She appeared in the first American musical adaptation of Jane Eyre including several roles in off-Broadway productions. She made her movie debut in 1984 with coming-of-age drama Old Enough. The movie won the first prize at Sundance Film Festival.
She portrayed Jenny Matrix in Commando with the lead role of Arnold Schwarzenegger. In 1988, she appeared in movies Crash Course and Dance ’til Dawn cast alongside her close friend Brian Bloom. In 1992, she played the role of a teenage prostitute in Where the Day Takes You. She received positive critical reception and was nominated for Critics Award at the Deauville Film Festival.
Milano won the Golden Space Needle Award at the Seattle International Film Festival for her character in Where the Day Takes You. She made her appearance in Netflix comedy series: Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later and Insatiable. She also appeared in the covers of high profile magazines like Cosmopolitan, Stuff, Seventeen, Cleo, Woman’s World, Veronica, Maxim, and FHM. In 2015, she expressed her support for Democratic Party presidential primaries, Hillary Clinton.
