Born as Ashley Mae Sebera on November 29, 1988 in Seven Hills, Ohio, she is an American professional wrestler, bodybuilder, fitness competitor and model signed to WWE where she appears on the Raw brand under the ring name Dana Brooke. Sebera graduated with a major degree in fashion, merchandising, design and a minor degree in business administration at the Kent State University. She worked briefly as a diver, until she started doing gymnastics again which she had done for more than 18 years previously. After suffering some injuries and hurting her ankles severely, she gave up gymnastics and started training for fitness and bodybuilding competitions.
Between 2011 and 2012, Sebera won various championships in the National Physique Committee (NPC). In 2012, she got a pro card at the International Federation of Bodybuilding & Fitness (IFBB). In the following year, she was placed twelfth in the Arnold Classic. In the year 2015, she reached thirteenth place at the Arnold’s Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio. On December 20, 2016, announcement was made that she was going to compete for the fitness international category at the 2017’s Arnold’s Classic where she reached the fourteenth place.
In July 2013, Sebera signed on with WWE and was assigned to the developmental territory known as NXT where she received the ring name Dana Brooke. Brooke debuted on NXT at NXT TakeOver: Fatal 4-Way on September 11, 2014 in a backstage segment with Tyler Breeze. On September 18, Brooke made her in-ring debut for NXT when she teamed up with Bayley to lose against Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks. On May 9, 2016, Brooke made her main roster debut when she and Emma attacked Lynch. On the May 12, Episode of SmackDown, Brooke made her main roster in-ring debut and defeated Lynch with some help from Emma.
Brooke has been featured in three WWE video games. Her in-game debut was in WWE 2K17, and she has also appeared in WWE 2K18 and WWE 2K19. Sebera was in a relationship with fellow bodybuilder Dallas McCarver until his death on August 22, 2017.
She won the Female Age Award in 2017. Pro Wrestling Illustrated ranked her #26 among the top 50 female wrestlers in the PWI Female 50 in 2016.
