Born on August 4, 1984 in Roanoke, Virginia, she is an American actress and singer. Lilley is the second oldest of four children of Ellen and Vincent Lilley. Lilley graduated from Cave Spring High School, and went on to attend the University of Virginia from which she graduated early with magna cum laude honors.
Lilley was seen in a supporting role in the movie The Artist (2011). She also temporarily played the role of Maxie Jones in the ABC soap opera General Hospital from September 2011 to August 2012. She has played the character of Theresa Donovan on NBC soap opera, Days of Our Lives since July 2013. Apart from this she acted in various television movies from Hallmark Channel.
Lilley debuted as Theresa Donovan in Days of Our Lives on July 3, 2013. In June 2016, she revealed that she was leaving the soap due to the demanding filming schedule that affected her other commitments and opportunities. Lilley then reprised the role in May- July 2018. In November 2016, Lilley made an appearance in a movie for the Hallmark Channel titled A Dash of Love.
Lilley travelled to Georgia in summer 2014, where she hosted and sang in a benefit concert with SOWEGA Art Performance to raise fund for ONEless Ministries.
Her first Christmas album, “Tinsel Time” came out on November 24, 2015. The album’s title track appeared on TV Guide Magazine’s TV Insider. On October 5, 2018, Lilley released her debut studio single, “King of Hearts” from her upcoming album, Lilley.
She married her husband Jason Wayne on May 26, 2007. They became foster parents through the organization Childhelp in 2016.
