Kristina Mladenovic is a professional tennis player from France-born on 14 May 1993 in Saint-Pol-sur-Mer. Her father Dragan Mladenović is a former Olympic gold medalist for Yugoslavia in handball. Mladenovic started playing juniors in May 2006 and became the European Under 14 singles champion in 2007. She received a wild card at the Australian Open in 2009 but lost to No. 14 seed, Patty Schnyder.
She partnered with Nicolas Mahutto play for France at the 2011 Hopman Cup. She turned to professional tennis in 2009 debuting at that year’s Australian Open.
