Kelly Maria Ripa is a multitude of things packed in a small package. She is an actress, dancer, talk show hostess, journalist, and television producer.
Ripa came into world view as Hayley Vaughan on the ABC daytime soap opera All My Children, between 1990 and 2002. She has been the co-host of the syndicated morning talk show Live! with Kelly and Ryan in various formats since 2001. She also played Faith Fairfield on the ABC sitcom Hope & Faith from 2003 to 2006.
Throughout her career Ripa has maintained a particular look, with short blonde hair to bring out her sharp features. She always wears outfits that stay close to her body, so that they showcase her curves and increase her appeal in camera.
One of Ripa’s comments sparked huge outrage when she said that her son after going to college has to live in extreme poverty. Her equation of him having to pay his own rent with poverty did not sit down well with everyone.
